Is that VALID?

Not VALID

“Put exempt on your W-4 and you won't owe any taxes.”

What the law says

  • It does not mean you owe nothing. It does not mean you do not have to file.
  • If you claim exempt and you did have liability, the tax does not disappear. It comes due when you file, and penalties and interest can apply.
